Purpose and legal basis for processing

The purpose of our processing of your personal data, such as name, e-mail and country and city of residence, is to be able to send you important information and news concerning VCM and our products and services as well as to invite you to and administer your participation in projects, such as pilot studies for testing of our services.

The legal basis for our processing as described above is your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data at any time. Please direct a request for withdrawal of consent to [**] or make use of the opt-out option found in the e-mails that we send.

Disclosure / Recipients of your personal data / Transfer

Your personal data may be disclosed to and processed by companies within the same group of companies as VCM and by our business partners associated with any information, news or project for the abovementioned purposes. Furthermore, your personal data may be transferred to such partners, subcontractors and group companies which are located outside of the EEA with the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission - safeguarding your personal data. Your personal data may also be transferred to research partners and subcontractors located in the USA which are certified under the Privacy Shield Scheme.

Retention time

Your personal data will be stored on an internal and secure server as long as your role is relevant for receipt of important information or news from us or until you opt-out from receiving further information from us.

With regard to any projects, we will store and process your personal data for up to twelve (12) months following your participation. In case of non-yearly events or projects, we will store your data until next planned event.
